This website is hosted by STRATO GmbH, Otto-Ostrowski-Straße 7, 10249 Berlin, Germany. STRATO processes the data on our behalf and, according to its own information, exclusively in Germany. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with STRATO.
When you visit this website, your browser automatically transmits data that the server stores in log files: the page accessed, date and time, amount of data transferred, notification of successful retrieval, referrer, browser type and version, operating system and IP address.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free operation and security of the website. STRATO stores your IP address for a maximum of seven days to detect and prevent attacks. In the access logs available to us, the IP address is anonymised. These data are not combined with other data sources.
Font
This website uses the Libre Franklin typeface. The font file is stored on our own web server and loaded from there. No connection to Google or any other provider is made.

If you email us, we process your email address, your name if you provide it, and the content of your message. We use this information solely to handle your enquiry and any follow-up questions. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to a contract or its initiation, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in answering your enquiry.
We operate our mailboxes with Microsoft 365. The provider is Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. Microsoft processes the messages on our behalf. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Microsoft.
A transfer to Microsoft Corporation in the USA cannot be ruled out. Microsoft Corporation is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework; for certified companies, an adequacy decision of the European Commission applies (Art. 45 GDPR). In addition, Microsoft bases transfers on the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses (Art. 46(2)(c) GDPR).
Beyond that, we do not pass on your information unless we are legally obliged to do so.
Contact by phone
If you call us, we process your phone number, if transmitted, your name and your concern, insofar as we note it down, to handle your enquiry. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your concern relates to a contract or its initiation, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
Appointment booking via Brevo
The buttons for an initial call lead to our booking page at Brevo (meet.brevo.com/need-expert). These are simple links: you only leave this website when you click, and no data is transmitted to Brevo before that. When you open the booking page, Brevo processes the technically necessary connection data, including your IP address.
If you book an appointment, we process the information you provide — first and last name, email address, phone number where applicable and details of your concern — to prepare and hold the meeting. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR if your enquiry relates to a contract or its initiation, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in arranging and holding the appointment.
The provider is Brevo GmbH, Köpenicker Straße 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany, a subsidiary of Sendinblue SAS, 17 rue de Salneuve, 75017 Paris, France. Brevo processes the data on our behalf. A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Brevo; the data is processed within the European Union.
Provision of data and automated decision-making
Providing your data is neither a legal nor a contractual requirement. Without it, however, we cannot answer your enquiry. No automated decision-making, including profiling, takes place.
Storage period
Personal data is only stored for as long as the respective purpose requires. We delete enquiries once they have been dealt with, unless a statutory retention obligation applies, for example under commercial or tax law for business correspondence.
Links to other websites
This website links to our main website need.expert and to profiles on LinkedIn. These are simple links: as long as you do not click them, no data is transmitted to these sites. Only when you click do you move to the respective site. LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company is responsible for processing on LinkedIn; the privacy policy published there applies to need.expert.
