NIS2 and the German KRITIS-Dachgesetz make risk management and emergency preparedness mandatory for many companies. The standards define how it is measured.

NIS2
Since December 2025, the German BSI Act has implemented the NIS2 Directive. Companies in scope need risk management for their information security, and senior management must oversee its implementation itself.

KRITIS-Dachgesetz
The German act on the resilience of critical facilities, in force since March 2026 and aimed at physical protection: operators must assess risks, implement resilience measures and report incidents.

ISO 22301 and ISO 31000
The standards for business continuity management and risk management. Auditors and clients measure a management system against them; we align our concepts with them.
